Approving the Purchase of Three Replacement Vehicles for Kane County Court Services (BID# 26-049-TK)

WHEREAS, Kane County Court Services is in need of three replacement vehicles for aging fleet vehicles that have been approved for replacement by the Kane County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Kane County Court Services utilizes county fleet vehicles on a daily basis to supervise and provide services to probation clients in the community; and
WHEREAS, Kane County Court Services has worked with the Purchasing Department to issue (BID# 26-049-TK) for various administrative vehicles, and received three (3) qualified responses. This is an all-inclusive, open-ended bid program, allowing other County departments to purchase on an as-needed basis; and
WHEREAS, after reviewing all responses, Court Services has determined that the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, providing the lowest purchase price for the 2026 Toyota Camry LE 2.5L FWD at a total cost of $34,995.00 per vehicle, is Envision Ford of Duarte.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board approves and authorizes the purchase of three (3) 2026 Toyota Camry LE 2.5L FWD from Envision Ford of Duarte, CA, for a total amount of One Hundred Four Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Five Dollars ($104,985.00).
