Approving an Agreement with Genuine Parts Company, D/B/A Napa Auto Parts of Atlanta, Georgia for Non-OEM Auto Parts and Supplies for the Kane County Division of Transportation

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA); and
WHEREAS, Genuine Parts Company dba Napa Auto Parts, 2999 Wildwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339 was the selected vendor under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement for the various brands and categories of Non-OEM Auto Parts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the prices from the vendor set forth herein above be accepted and approved for the one-year contract term from December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026 with the option of three unilateral one-year contract term extensions in which contract prices shall be paid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board hereby appropriates Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #60330 (Vehicle Parts/Supplies) and Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #60360 (Equipment Parts/Supplies) for a total appropriation of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00).
