Authorizing the Re-Programming of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the Amount of Fifty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Nine Dollars and Seventy Cents ($57,309.70) from the Service Agreement Between Veterans’ Assistance Commission of Kane and the Kane County Division of Transportation to ARPA Program Administrative Project

WHEREAS, Resolution 23-140 authorized the use of Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000) in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to fund the Ride in Kane Paratransit Program for the Kane County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 23-213 approved the service agreement between the Veterans Assistance Commission of Kane County and the County of Kane for Ride in Kane Paratransit Services, hereto attached; and
WHEREAS, the service agreement authorized Seventy-Five Thousand ($75,000) of the Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000) in (SLFRF) allocated to KDOT for Ride in Kane to be used to provide medical trips for Veterans; and
WHEREAS, the service agreement will end in November, 2026 and will have a remaining amount of Fifty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Nine Dollars and Seventy Cents ($57,309.70); and
WHEREAS, the ARPA Committee recommends that the Kane County Board authorizes the re-programming of the Fifty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Nine Dollars and Seventy Cents ($57,309.70) in SLFRF from this service agreement remaining and unspent amount to the ARPA Program Administrative project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the re-programming of the Fifty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Nine Dollars and Seventy Cents ($57,309.70) in SLFRF from this service agreement remaining and unspent amount to the ARPA Program Administrative project.
