Authorizing a Budget Adjustment for Desktop Support Analyst II and Systems Administrator Lead for the Information Technologies Department - Public Safety Sales Tax

WHEREAS, the Information Technologies Department is responsible for supporting Public Safety hardware and software systems; and

WHEREAS, the Information Technologies Department is experiencing increased demand for Desktop Support and Systems Administration for Public Safety; and

WHEREAS, the increased demand for support requires the addition of a Desktop Support Analyst II and a Systems Administrator Lead to provide the necessary support; and

WHEREAS, fund 125 was created to provide the support for public safety and has adequate funds to support these positions.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Public Safety Sales Tax budget be adjusted as follows:

125.800.810.40000     +$48,758        Salaries and Wages
125.800.810.45100     +$3,694          FICA/SS Contribution
125.800.810.45200     +$2,487          IMRF Contribution

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Information Technologies Department FY2023 budget be adjusted to reflect the Desktop Support Analyst II and Systems Administrator Lead salaries in the amount of Seventy-Nine Thousand Five Hundred and Nine Dollars ($79,509).
