Reappropriating Funds and Amending Resolution No. 23-535 with HDR, Inc. for Montgomery Road at Howell Place Improvements, Kane County Section No. 23-00586-00-TL

WHEREAS, Resolution 23-535 approved an agreement with HDR, Inc. for Montgomery Road at Howell Place improvement, Kane County Section No. 23-00586-00-TL, and appropriated Eight Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($854,832.00) from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements include elements that enhance roadway capacity and functionality to accommodate anticipated growth, providing benefits to current users and future system demands; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Kane County to reappropriate the remaining funds associated with this project to align with eligible funding sources and ensure proper use of impact fee revenues.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the remaining appropriation in the amount of Four Hundred Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars and 96/100 ($480,597.96) currently allocated within Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305 is hereby reappropriated and transferred from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305 to South Impact Fee Fund #560.
