Authorizing Additional Funds from FY2024 Mill Creek SSA Budget for Kane County Mill Creek SSA Engineering Firm Services with Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) (RFP# 23-016)

WHEREAS, Kane County Mill Creek SSA is currently in contract with Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) of Elgin IL for Engineering Firm Services; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 23-287 approves One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) per fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Mill Creek SSA has had additional project needs for Engineering Firm Services; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Mill Creek SSA requests authorization of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) per fiscal year in additional funds for the additional project needs; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are budgeted and are available in the FY2024 Mill Creek SSA budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Kane County Mill Creek SSA is hereby authorized to expend up to One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000) with Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) per fiscal year due to the additional Engineering Firm Services needs throughout the Kane County Mill Creek SSA.
