Amending Resolution No. 23-538 - Approving a Phase III Construction Engineering Services Agreement with Ciorba Group, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois, for the Plank Road Highway Safety Improvement Project from Engel Road to Waughon Road, Kane County, Section No. 19-00524-00-SP

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 23-538, the County of Kane entered into a Phase III Construction Engineering Services Agreement (hereinafter the “Agreement”) with Ciorba Group, Inc. and appropriated One Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand One Hundred Seventeen and 54/100 Dollars ($199,117.54) for engineering services for the Plank Road - Engel Road to Waughon Road Highway Safety Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution No. 23-538 that was submitted for approval to the Kane County Board contained a scrivener’s error appropriating the above stated $199,177.54 from an incorrect fund, namely Transportation Capital Fund #540, Line Item #50140 (Engineering); and
WHEREAS, the fund from which said $199,177.54 is intended to be appropriated is Motor Fuel Tax Fund #302, Line Item #50140 (Engineering); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the appropriation contained in Resolution No. 23-538 as approved, for the sum of One Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand One Hundred Seventeen Dollars and 54/100 Dollars be amended to state that said funds are appropriated from Motor Fuel Tax Fund #302, Line Item #50140 (Engineering) to pay for the engineering services approved therein.
