Approving the Purchase of One (1) Maxi-500, 500 Gallon Tote Pumper Style Application Striping Truck for the Kane County Division of Transportation

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (“IGA”) to procure materials, services, supplies, equipment, construction and construction-related services; and
WHEREAS, quotes have been solicited and received for one (1) Maxi-500, 500 Gallon Tote Pumper Style Application Striping Truck (hereinafter the “Truck”); and
WHEREAS, M-B Companies, Inc. of Muncy, Pennsylvania, was the selected vendor for the Truck under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement with the cost of the one (1) Truck totaling Four Hundred Forty-One Thousand Two Hundred Seven and 73/100 Dollars ($441,207.73).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Truck from M-B Companies, Inc., in the amount of Four Hundred Forty One Thousand Two Hundred Seven and 73/100 Dollars ($441,207.73).is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Truck from M-B Companies, Inc. of Muncy, Pennsylvania, with payment to be appropriated from Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #70110 (Machinery and Equipment).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kane County Board Chairman is authorized and directed to execute any documents relating to the Truck purchase order.
