Authorizing Job Positions and GL Changes in the 125 Fund for the Building Management Department

WHEREAS, the Building Management Department supports all buildings within the County of Kane, several of these buildings being 24/7 operations; and
WHEREAS, the Building Management Department has the need to create a second shift that would have one Chief Building Engineer, one Maintenance Tech II and one Maintenance Tech III; and
WHEREAS, Two Hundred Six Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Five dollars ($206,425) will be moved from 125.800.810.70060 to 125.800.810.40000 to support the wages for these three positions; and
WHEREAS, this will not be any additional funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Building Management Department is authorized to move Two Hundred Six Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Five dollars ($206,425) from 125.800.810.70060 to 125.800.810.40000 for three second shift positions (Chief Building Engineer, Maintenance Tech II and Maintenance Tech III that will support 24/7 operations.
Chief Building Engineer: $37.87 OR $78,767.39
Maintenance Tech II: $29.25 OR $60,840.20
Maintenance Tech III: $32.12 OR $66,815.93
