Approving a Contract for Reforestation with HGS, LLC dba RES Environmental Operating Company, LLC of Chicago, Illinois for the Reforestation at Brunner Family Forest Preserve Project, Kane County Section No. 25-00581-00-MS

WHEREAS, the Kane County Division of Transportation has solicited and received bids for the work described as:
KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 25-00591-00-RS
REFORESTATION AT BRUNNER FAMILY FOREST PRESERVE PROJECT
(hereinafter the “Project”)
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder for the Project is:
HGS, LLC DBA RES ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING COMPANY, LLC OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
with a low bid of
$265,900.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a contract for the Project described hereinabove shall be awarded to the lowest bidder, HGS, LLC dba RES Environmental Operating Company, LLC of Chicago, Illinois in the amount as indicated hereinabove and that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract and contractor’s bond therefor
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated Two Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($265,900.00) from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305, Line Item #73000 (Road Construction) to pay for the Project.
