Authorizing the Reprogramming of State and Local Fiscal Recovedry Funds in the Amount of Nine Cents ($0.09) from the Public Action to Deliver Shelter (Pads) of Elgin Building toward the future ARPA Project to the Kane County Building Management Department’s Sheriffi’s Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project

WHEREAS, by Resolution 24-217, the Kane County Board authorized Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) and authorized the execution of Agreement No. 46142672 for the Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) of Elgin Building Toward the Future ARPA Project; and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee recommends reprogramming Nine Cents ($0.09) from the Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) of Elgin Building Toward the Future ARPA Project, under Agreement No. 46142672, to the Kane County Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the reprogramming of Nine Cents ($0.09) from the Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) of Elgin Building Toward the Future ARPA Project, under Agreement No. 46142672, to the Kane County Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
