Approving a Contract for the Purchase of One (1) Case WX175 Wheeled Excavator for the Kane County Division of Transportation

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (“IGA”) to procure materials, services, supplies, equipment, construction, and construction-related services; and
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received for one (1) Case WX175 Wheeled Excavator ( “Excavator”); and
WHEREAS, McCann Industries, Inc. of Wauconda, Illinois, was the selected vendor for the Excavator under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement with the cost of the one (1) Excavator totaling Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars ($370,463.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Excavator from McCann Industries, Inc., in the amount of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars ($370,463.00) is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Excavator from McCann Industries, Inc. of Wauconda, Illinois, with payment to be appropriated from Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #70110 (Machinery and Equipment).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kane County Board Chairman is authorized and directed to execute any documents relating to the Excavator purchase order.
