Authorizing Additional Expenditure of Funds to Pay Invoice from FY2026 Mill Creek Special Service Area Budget for Natural Area Management with V3 Construction Group, LTD.

WHEREAS, the Kane County Mill Creek Special Service Area obtained three quotes for natural area work in areas 1 & 13 in the Mill Creek subdivision because the anticipated cost of the work exceeded Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) but was less than Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000); and
WHEREAS, V3 Construction Group, LTD. was the lowest of the three quotes that were obtained coming in at Twenty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($25,215); and
WHEREAS, due to unforeseen circumstances the project had change orders and the amount total is now Thirty-One Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($31,295) and has a bill for the remaining amount of One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($1,900); and
WHEREAS, adequate funds have been budgeted and are available in the FY2026 Mill Creek Special Services Area operating budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Mill Creek Special Service Area is authorized to pay the outstanding balance to V3 Construction Group, LTD. in the amount of One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($1,900) making the total spent with V3 Construction Group, LTD. Thirty-One Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($31,295).
