Authorizing the Reprogramming of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the Amount of Twenty-Six Thousand Eighty Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($26,080.55) from the Building Management Department’s Satellite Offices Building in Elgin HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project to the Building Management Department’s Jail Towers A & B HVAC System Improvements ARPA Project

WHEREAS, by Resolutions 24-346, 24-442, 24-444, 24-448, and 25-341, the Kane County Board authorized One Million Two Hundred Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($1,202,930.55) in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds for the Building Management Department's Satellite Offices Building in Elgin HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project; and
WHEREAS, the Satellite Offices Building in Elgin HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project has been completed and has a remaining balance of Twenty-Six Thousand Eighty Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($26,080.55); and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee recommends reprogramming Twenty-Six Thousand Eighty Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($26,080.55) from the Building Management Department's Satellite Offices Building in Elgin HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project to the Building Management Department's Jail Towers A & B HVAC System Improvements ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the reprogramming of Twenty-Six Thousand Eighty Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($26,080.55) from the Building Management Department's Satellite Offices Building in Elgin HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project to the Building Management Department's Jail Towers A & B HVAC System Improvements ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
